None of this is essential, but it lets us turn up with the right truck and a realistic idea of the job rather than finding out on site.

- Where the tank is, if you know
- Whether the lid is exposed or buried
- What the drive and gates are like for a heavy truck
- Whether it is conventional or aerobic, if you know
- Roughly when it was last pumped
What we can tell you on the phone
Whether what you are describing sounds urgent, what to stop doing in the meantime, and when we can get to you.
What we will not do is quote a price over the phone. Every septic system is different, and tank depth, access and condition all change the work. A number given before anyone has seen it is a guess, and guesses get revised upward on site. We come out, open it up, and tell you what it needs before any work starts.
If sewage is backing up into the house, do not wait for the next business day. Call, and stop putting water into the system in the meantime.

Our yard and compost facility are on County Road 3372 in Pickton, about twelve miles east of Sulphur Springs.

Do you really answer the phone at night?
Yes. Someone answers any hour, any day. We are a local family business, so out of hours you are talking to someone who works here rather than an answering service.
How quickly can you get to me?
It depends where you are and what is already in progress. We work out of Pickton and cover towns across Northeast Texas. Weather, road conditions and jobs already under way all affect it, so we will give you a realistic answer rather than an optimistic one.
Will you quote me a price over the phone?
No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Tank depth, access and the condition of the system all change the job, and none of that is visible from a phone call. We look first.
What if I do not know where my septic tank is?
That is common, particularly on older properties that have changed hands. Locating it is part of the job. Tell us when you call so we allow time for it.
